Lucky Charm ~ Lucky Horseshoe

by sugar on March 16, 2012

Horsepeople have long tacked the thrown shoes of their horses over doorways and onto gates to encourage good luck – always facing up to hold the luck.  According to LuckyMojo.com,  this practice originated in Europe, where you will find them nailed onto houses, barns, and stables from Italy through Germany and up into Britain and Scandinavia.

As horse lovers, we just adore anything associated with them, especially our lucky horseshoe with rhinestone nails with a sweet horse head smiling at us.  Wear this cute charm on a buckle bracelet, flip flops, key chain, or hat.   You’ll be all set for this year’s horse events at the Olympics, The Kentucky Derby, or even a game of horseshoes (you play that right?) or anywhere you need a little extra luck!
